Claude St-Jacques, Chairman, CEO< President

Mr. St-Jacques is the founder and past president of the Company as well as being the founder of Mazarin and Virginia Gold Mines. Mr. St-Jacques graduated from Laval University (1982) in management and public relations and has been associated with the mining industry since 1982, namely as Managing Director of the Quebec Prospector's Association from 1982 to 1984. Mr. St-Jacques is also a director of Virginia Mines Inc.

Appointement of Claude
St-Jacques as chief officer
Vior announces today that Mr Claude St-Jacques, chairman of the board of the company, will assume, as of today, the duties of chief executive officer. Mr St- Jacques is replacing Mr. Patrick Bradley, who has to deal with a health matter. Everyone in the company extends their best wishes to Mr Bradley.

Jean Pelletier, Director

Mr. Pelletier is a member of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. From 1970 to 2000, he worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and became Associate in 1981. He specialized in the auditing of manufacturing, mining and technological companies. From 2001 to 2005, he was involved with Groupe Hauts-Monts Inc. and since 2006, acts as special counsel to Groupe Océan Inc.

Pierre St-Jacques, Director

Mr. St-Jacques is a chartered accountant, a graduate from Laval University (1970). Mr. St-Jacques is partner with Samson Bélair/Deloitte & Touche since 1982 and is involved in the mining industry since 1985 as a director of several public mining companies.

Carl DeLuca, Director

Mr. DeLuca is currently the Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary at CVRD Inco Limited and serves on the Company's board as nominee of CVRD Inco Limited.

Denis Chénard, ing., Manager of Exploration

Gaétan Mercier, Controller

Mr. Mercier has been controller of the Company since June 1, 1996. He is also CFO of Virginia Mines Inc. Mr. Mercier is a Management graduate from the Laval University in Québec City.
