Western Uranium Corporation Grants Stock Options

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 30, 2009) - Western Uranium Corporation (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:WUC) announces that it has granted incentive stock options to one of its directors which allow the purchase of 500,000 common shares on or before January 21, 2012 at a price of $0.83 per share. These options have been granted pursuant to the Company's Stock Option Plan dated March 31, 2006.

The Company has exploration properties in Nevada, New Mexico and in the Thelon Basin, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories.
