GOLDEN HOPE MINES (TSXV:GNH) Confirms High Grade Intersection of 64.1 g/t Au (Gold) over 1m Read More 

  • The screen metallic analysis returned 82 g/t Au for an average grade of 93.5 g/t Au.
  • Two additional fire assays on the original pulp done prior to the screen metallic analyses returned 0.22 g/t Au and 0.12 g/t Au for an average fire assay grade of 0.41 g/t Au. The weighted average of all the fire assays and screen metallic assays from this 1-metre section in hole BD2011-184 is 64.1 g/t Au.

Results from Gold Showing Areas 1 and 4

I found the results from sampling in Gold Showings 1 and 4 in another spot on Wildcat's website - here is a direct link to the map:

Note that there were some very good results in a concentrated area in the lower section of Gold Showing #1 - as high as 33.23 g/t and 57.96 g/t.

Also, Tom Lewis commented that the assay results from previous samples from all showings may have been too low as the sample material provided to the lab included more of the surrounding rock than they needed to; that would have ended up diluting the gold value of the sample. Therefore, on future samplings, the results may end up being much higher than previously. I would say that this was Tom's opinion at this point, not a proven fact, but a distinct possibility.
