Yankee Hat Minerals Ltd. ("Yankee Hat" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:KHT) is pleased to announce that it has closed the first tranche of its private placement of 2,215,000 shares (the "Offering"). The Company has issued these shares at an offering price of $0.05 per common share.
The insiders of the Company who participated in this Offering are Terence Schorn and Cale Thomas.
The Shares issued from the Offering are subject to a hold period until May 14, 2009 in accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange. This Offering is subject to final TSX Venture Exchange approval.
The net proceeds of the private placement will be used on the Company's exploration projects in the Yukon Territory.
