ok rising_market and xrouchos: I took a shot at rising_markets previous post question first and then went over to pink sheets. com and took a look around to find out a little more about the concern expressed in xrouchos current post. The note says quotes are delayed 15 minutes, but I doubt that is correct. The site is broken down to 7 headings. 2 of the headings have no information. The 5 headings that have info are: Quote/ News/ Charts/ Company Information/ Short Interest. Pink Sheet stocks are divided into 5 major divisions themselves as follows: 1) Trusted 2) Transparent 3) Distressed 4) Dark/Defunct and 5) Toxic (also known as: Caveat Emptor). ZNNMF.PK is a Grey Market type and that makes it fall under #4: Dark/Defunct. The 2 subcatagories of Dark/Defunct are: a) Pink Sheets No Information and b) Grey Market. The definition given for Grey Market (such as ZNNMF.PK) is: "There are no market makers in this security. It is not listed, traded or quoted on any stock exchange, the OTCBB or the Pink Sheets. Trades in grey market stocks are reported by broker-dealers to Self Regulatory Organizations (SRO) and the SRO distributes the trade data to the market data vendors and financial web sites so investors can track price and volume. Since grey market securities are not traded or quoted on an exchange or interdealer quotation system, investor bids and offers are not collected in a central spot so market transparency is diminished and Best Execution of orders is difficult." I hope this helps answer your questions. I know this definition says that Pink Sheets doesn't quote Grey Market stocks, but for some reason they DO give a daily quote on ZNNMF.PK. Doesn't make sense, but there ya go! In the US many brokerages sell ZNNMF.PK shares including 2 of the biggest: Ameritrade and OptionsXpress. I am sure there are others. It is not difficult to purchase ZNNMF.PK, however it may be impossible through most US brokerages to do so on the computer. I placed my orders through a customer sales phone rep at OptionsXpress with little to no difficulty. To place the order you just use the symbol: ZNNMF only (leave off the ".PK" portion of it). I just had to wait 2 or 3 minutes at the most to get the most recent price quote before placing the trade and the trade was executed soon after. The whole thing took less than 5 minutes. Best wishes.
