Hey BL,
You wanted discussion, here it is.
To answer your question with a question, why is there no sna discussion on the stockhouse board? I wouldn't exactly call a hand full of people on this board blowing sunshine up each others ..... exactly discussions or productive.
How about that financing you guys completed, came up a little short I see. Going by the two recently released financial statement, much of that money was spent in the previous quarter and will be needed to pay outstanding bills. You made some interesting comments regarding ama management and their business. What did you base those statements on? I am interested in the unlikely event I have over looked something.
Please define substance, might that be a proven product which has actually been installed in approx 130 planes and are producing growing revenues, how about almost eight hundred contracts in place, or, I know, a company that hasn't issued 25-30 million shares in a twelve month period. Maybe a Middle East military contract? Would any of these things fall into your definition of substance?
By what magical mathematical approach do you arrive at a share price of .50-.60 cents? Never mind your $1.00 plus prediction yet claiming that ama was over valued when it was at a dollar. Do you realistically think that there is a chance for a $170 million dollar contract in the immediate future (a statement which was retracted by the way), even if one did appear how long would it take to actually start producing revenue? I'm only aware of one completed live test which took place a year ago, have you asked anybody what happened with that?
Research in Motion? That doesn't even warrant any further discussion except to say that even with ten thousand installs, neither company could ever be remotely compared to RIM.
You stated "As far as I am concerned AMA is self destructing. Their stocks have always been overvalued. They have never had the substance the SNA has had. At the time that AMA was trading in the dollar mark and we were anywhere between .15 and .16 we were way ahead with our product and technology than they were. Their stock value was built on hype and in my humble opinion....... i stop here because I won't say it."
Your quote here is beautiful, self destructing, over valued, no substance, way ahead with the product and technology. But your insinuation of ......., that's perfect. Who put that bug in your ear? If the product is so superior why aren't all those announced contracts over that last few years being filled? What about the large amounts of money still being spent on R&D?
You finished by asking the following question "I would encourage anyone who is reading this stuff who has not signed up on our forum to tell me I am crazy, a wishful thinker or whether you agree with me. I know there are more of you out there. I would like to hear from you." Well, you've heard from me and I feel confident that your question has been answered.
I'm very much aware that ama is behind with some of the anticipated installs and that the share price has floundered lately but on paper they are light years ahead of sna.
Please don't misunderstand, I'm not bashing, I'm referring to information provided by reading into the financials and press releases so this is of course imo. I believe in free market competition. Who knows, maybe that's what we are witnessing right now, the market making a choice. I certainly don't wish any ill will against a business or their investors but I will defend my investment as I would expect you would do with yours. I had considered investing in sna at one point until I did an indepth comparison, my direction is obvious.
I sincerely wish you all success with your investment and sna's success in the market but would ask that you not make comments about things you obviously have not thoroughly investigated nor I doubt have proof of. If you had I believe that in all good conscience you would not have made the remarks you did.
Good health
