on some news that was recently announced. Interesting developments on the Data Streaming which were completed very successfully in collaboration with SkyService Airlines.

More talk of the Hawker project, I believe this is what the markets are anticipating. Who is that Major Private Business Jet Airline that the test have been completed with a AFIRS unit onboard & still being evaluated as we speak well it as Net Jet written all over it, more to come on that front.

Here are the two recent news releases & the initial news release of the Hawker test. What is interesting is that Net Jet is owned by Warren Buffett which also as a European Division & AMS as changed news provider to Business Wire which is also owned by Warren Buffett, keep in mind this is speculation on my part but it points in that direction.

Always do your due diligence before investing.....

Good luck to all

AeroMechanical Services Ltd. Announces First Business Aircraft Installation
9/9/2009 9:18 AM - Business Wire

CALGARY, Alberta, Sep 09, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

AeroMechanical Services Ltd. (AMA) is pleased to announce that it has completed its first installation of afirs(TM) UpTime(TM) on a business aircraft and conducted a flawless flight test on a Hawker Beechcraft business jet in Europe. The aircraft, operated by a large fleet operator, will now enter an in-service evaluation of afirs UpTime flight watch, real time event reporting, UpTime Fuel and Emissions Management, flight data monitoring support, and emergency mode data streaming. The certifications (by Transport Canada, the United States Federal Aviation Administration ("FAA"), and European Aviation Safety Agency ("EASA")) that result from the flight test will supplement previously-granted certifications for the installation provisions. These activation approvals, normally expected within a period of several weeks, will apply to the Hawker Beechcraft 750, 800XP, 850XP and 900XP models, of which over 700 are in service or on order.

Richard Hayden, President of AMA, stated, "We are delighted, but not surprised, with the successful integration and testing of afirs on this popular business aircraft series. This represents a key milestone in AMA's long term strategy to expand our customer base into the business aviation market, where our capabilities will be highly valued. We believe that the scope of services that we have now deployed is unrivaled in the business aviation sector. Thanks to all involved for the tremendous team effort to make this day possible".

AeroMechanical Services Ltd. Announces Successful Completion of Flight Testing of FlyhtStreamLive Air-to-Ground Data Streaming aboard Skyservice Airlines Inc. Aircraft

CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AeroMechanical Services Ltd. (“AMA” or the “Corporation”) in a press release dated August 11, 2009, announced that pre-deployment testing had been completed on a new communication technology that has the ability to stream data from aircraft to ground anywhere, anytime, in real-time, and that an aircraft-in-service evaluation would soon be accomplished with an airline customer. AMA is pleased to announce that flight testing has now been completed onboard a number of Skyservice Airlines Inc. (“Skyservice”) aircraft, and has been a resounding success.

Under the brand FLYHT™, AMA manufactures the afirs 220, which when required can trigger a streaming mode to begin transmission of essential position and flight data recorder (“FDR”) information. This service, branded as FlyhtStream, is based on patented technology, and provides a continuous automated link between onboard avionics (including GPS and FDR), the Iridium global satellite network and a ground-based web-server that automatically routes messages to any number of designated recipients within seconds. The afirs system also provides global satellite voice communications with the aircraft via the Iridium satellite network.

Streaming of data can be triggered by the cockpit crew, from the ground, or when a predetermined set of parameters has been exceeded. Ground staff are notified of the streaming event by urgent email, text message to their mobile phones, and visual and aural announcements in their flight operations center. Streaming mode can be used in a variety of applications, including maintenance troubleshooting and monitoring critical in-flight events.

Rob Giguere, President and CEO of Skyservice, reported, “With afirs installed, over the last 3 years Skyservice has benefitted from uninterrupted worldwide communications and aircraft position monitoring resulting in improved operational efficiencies, particularly fuel savings and the associated decreased emissions. With the introduction of FlyhtStream data streaming we will be able to substantially increase our level of Maintenance Situational Awareness.”

AMA President Richard Hayden reported, “In flight testing of FlyhtStream was a spectacular success, and, since it can be implemented into our existing afirs solution, the more than 30 operators currently using afirs will be able to derive the added benefits of its capabilities when fully deployed. This will allow our customers to expand on the efficiencies they have already gained from using afirs.”

AeroMechanical Services Ltd. Markets the afirs “Maintenance Situational Awareness” System to the Business Aviation Market

CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AeroMechanical Services Ltd. (“AMA” or the “Company”), a leading provider of real time aircraft data services to airlines, used the National Business Aviation Association (“NBAA”) annual convention in Orlando, Florida this week to market its Maintenance Situational Awareness afirs™ system for the business aviation market.

Under the brand FLYHT™, AMA provides the Automated Flight Information Reporting System (afirsTM), an on-board system which monitors, reports, and records the performance and status of aircraft systems, and also sends critical data such as position and exceedances to the ground in real time via the Iridium satellite network. This data is processed by Flyht’s UpTimeTM ground network, which distills it into instantly usable information for the aircraft operator. Any data that is available electronically onboard the aircraft can be monitored, recorded, and transmitted. In a press release dated September 9, 2009 AMA previously announced that the afirs UpTime system’s capabilities have been expanded to stream live data, such as from a flight data recorder, to the ground in real time.

Jack Olcott, former president of NBAA and member of AMA’s board of directors said, “afirs/Uptime provides real-time data that enable effective interventions in critical areas such as unscheduled maintenance, which reduces aircraft reliability and dispatch availability. Data from afirs/Uptime also is a powerful tool for complying with government mandates, which are increasing in number and costly for the operators if not followed.”

AMA president, Richard Hayden, said, “The success of our recent testing in Europe aboard a large fleet operator’s Hawker business jet showed how our afirs system can help managers of business aircraft increase their maintenance situational awareness while reducing the cost of their operations and ensuring compliance with emerging emissions trading rules. Potential business aviation customers have expressed great interest in the potential for afirs in their operations and we anticipate that it will become a key tool in increasing operational efficiency for our customers.”
