Re: How much is that in ounces -- Assays up to 180.5 Grams per Tonne Gold

I think you got it wrong. Here is a clip from one of their press releases:

"In April, a total of 19,473 tons were milled at a rate of 649 tons per day at a head grade of 0.4748 ounces of gold per ton to produce 8,916 ounces of gold for the month, bringing the quarterly production to a record 20,411 ounces for the quarter, and to 48,012 ounces for the fiscal year."

This tells me that they are getting less than 1/2 ounce per ton out. I think we will be getting on average abut two ounces / ton. This is good news for us. I estemate that it takes about $400 /ton to process.

Given Kirkland figures of abut 20,000 tons * $400 is $8,000,000 and revenus of about 9,000 ounces * $900 is about $8.100,000 they are breaking even. A labor force of 200 * 5,000/mo is $1,000,000 . This does not cover the cost of machinery depreciation or energy costs.

In all, I say Kirkland is doing fine. I'm hoping that we can do bettr.
