After looking at ND, I felt real great about ASWRF. They manage to lose $2M/quarter and produce 1000 oz of gold/month. They have the same crushing equipment as we do. They must sell the gold to the Zimbawi Central Bank and get paid 1/2 in U.S. Currency and 1/2 in Zimbawi currency (Basically zero). The stock is selling for over $0.85. Based on all things being equal, our share price should be worth at least five times that much so around $4 /share.

On another note:

China is buying mines in Africa and Canada (That I know of). In Canada, they are involved with a takeover (Unsoliceted) of a gold mine. The Chinese have the money to push locals around and outbid them. I'm wondering just how much they would be offering ASWRF if they looked at this company. Does managment have a 'poison pill' in place?

With gold going higher and higher and the dollar sinking, it just makes sense to invest in a gold mine. My kids are still in college and I could be tempted to sell all if the right price comes along. Just what the price is I don't know. $2 sounds awfully tempting

What do you think?
