Chicoutimi, Quebec –Arianne Resources Inc. (“Arianne”) and Exploration Azimut Inc. (“Azimut”) announce encouraging preliminary field results for the Havre Nord property located north of the town of Havre St. Pierre in the North Shore region.

A radioactive pegmatite identified by surface prospecting ran 4,000 to 20,000 counts per second (cps) with a peak of 25,000 cps (Exploranium GR-135 Plus scintillometer). Discovered on a cliff face, the subhorizontally dipping pegmatite was traced over 45 m with an average thickness of 5 metres. Yellow products were observed on the rock’s surface and are thought to represent weathered primary uranium-bearing minerals. Surrounded by a granitic intrusion, the pegmatite contains smoky quartz and large crystals of magnetite.

The showing is spatially correlated with a strong uraniferous helicopter-borne anomaly measuring 1 by 5 km. This anomaly was detected by a survey conducted over the property by Géophysique GPR International in June of 2007. The location of the showing with respect to the anomaly indicates that significant extensions may be present. Twenty (20) grab samples were collected in the area and sent for analysis. A follow-up program will be prepared based on the results of these rock samples.

Azimut and Arianne have signed an option for the Havre Nord property allowing Arianne to acquire an interest in the project of 468 claims totalling 261 km² (press release of June 22, 2007). The fieldwork was led by Christian Tremblay and supervised by Bernard Lapointe, both of whom are geologists. Mr. Lapointe acted as Arianne’s Qualified Person according to National Instrument 43-101.
