NEWS - Arianne Resources Inc./Havre Nord Project: Update and Natashquan Project-Preliminary Results

posted on Oct 31, 07 05:00AM

SAGUENAY, QUEBEC -- Oct. 31, 2007 - The management of Arianne Resources Inc. (the Company or Arianne) (TSX VENTURE: DAR) (FRANKFURT: JE9) (OTCBB: DARUF) recently announced the discovery of an important uranium target, i.e. a high grade rare earths pegmatite also grading up to 0.43% U3O8, on the Havre Nord uranium project, in the North Shore of Quebec (October 24, 2007 press release; in joint-venture with Exploration Azimut) (TSX VENTURE:AZM).

A recent visit of the block NW-1 discovery enabled technical teams to confirm this discovery (http://www.arianne-inc.com/fichiers/... ). This pegmatite, hosted in a granitic intrusion, is now known on a 40-meter strike. It is approximately 1.5 metres thick, and is similar to the enriched centre previously observed (October 24, 2007). The layered host granite is highly radioactive and returns scintillometer values up to 2,000 cps. The pegmatite bearing horizon will be drilled and the whole area will be prospected when weather conditions are appropriate.

In reference to the October 24, 2007 press release, the Company confirms the existence of a pegmatite with high U-Th-Y-REM content, but at this stage of exploration, cannot assign any economic value to it.

Havre Nord Project: Following the option agreement previously signed with Exploration Azimut, four blocks of claims were optionned. These four blocks cover an area of 25,000 ha. These claims are located near claims from the Natashquan project (see map at http://www.arianne-inc.com/fichiers/... ).

Natashquan project: The Company owns more than 27,000 ha of claims spreaded on 11 properties 130 km north of Natashquan, on the North Shore of Quebec. Some of these claims are joint-ventured with the Innu Nitassinan Mining Fund.

Preliminary results: The helicopter survey (MAG-VLF-SPECTROMETRY) was done in June on the four blocks of Havre Nord project and on five of the Natasquan project's blocks, for a total of 2,000 km of line. A ground follow-up survey took place in September with an helicopter team lead by geologists Christian Tremblay (Arianne) and Eric Ducharme (Mining Fund). The survey lasted 10 days and identified potential exploration targets.

The encountered rocks are uranium bearing pinkish granites with a noise of 500 cps (counts per second measured with an Exploranium GR-135 Plus scintillometer) contrasting with host rocks at (granites or sedimentary rocks) at 100 cps. Stronger zones with black quartz returned 1,000 cps and magnetite rich zones returned 1,500 cps. Many blocks show similar anomalies.

Significant discovery and future outcome: September 27 and October 27, 2007 press releases describe the block NW-1 discovery. Considering that the ground follow-up was short laps, the Company is enthusiastic about future works in this area.
