NEWS - Arianne Increases Options Available Under Stock Option Plan

SAGUENAY, QUEBEC - (Jan. 18, 2008) - Arianne's (TSX VENTURE: DAR) board of directors approved a modification to the Company's Stock option plan that will increase the number of options available for grants to 7,800,000 or 9.9 % of the Company's outstanding shares. The previous plan permitted the grant of 5,300,000 stock options and the current outstanding number of stock options granted by the Company is close to this limit. This modification is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

The TSX Venture Exchange has not reviewed and does not accept responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.
