NEWS - Arianne Increases Previous Stock Options Price to $0.10

CHICOUTIMI, QUEBEC - (Aug. 22, 2008) - Arianne Resources (TSX VENTURE:DAR) (FRANKFURT:JE9) (OTCBB:DARUF) reports the following modifications to stock options grants that were awarded in 2008, to comply with the minimum exercise price rule of the TSX Venture.

The following previously awarded stock options have been cancelled:

1,200,000 stock options @ $0.08 announced February 6, 2008;

350,000 stock options @ $0.09 announced February 25, 2008 and

1,150,000 stock options @ $0.07 announced August 4, 2008.

Those 2,700,000 stock options are being re-awarded today at a price of $0.10 to the same insiders. They will expire August 22, 2013.
