NEWS - Arianne Appoints New CFO

SAGUENAY, QUEBEC - (Oct. 8, 2008) - Arianne Resources inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:DAR) (FRANKFURT:JE9) (OTCBB:DARUF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Lucie Hebert, C.A., as new CFO of the Company. Mrs. Hebert has been a chartered accountant for the last 25 years and has been taking care of the Company's accounting since its creation, 10 years ago.. The Company grants 250,000 stock options at $0.10 to Mrs. Hebert.

This appointment follows the resignation of Mr. Michel Perron, as CFO of the Company. Arianne wishes to extend its thanks to Mr. Perron for past services and wishes him the best of success in his private practice.
