SAGUENAY, QUEBEC - (Nov. 7, 2008) - Arianne Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:DAR)(FRANKFURT:JE9)(OTCBB:DA... ("Arianne" or "Company") is pleased to announce that it started drilling on its phosphorus/titanium Lac a Paul project. This 5,000-meter drilling campaign that started on October 28, will attempt to outline reserves on three sectors of the property : the Pau zone, Zone 2 and the Man Zone. A 43-101 resource estimate will be produced by SGS-Geostat at the end of this campaign.
Drilling started on the Pau Zone and six (6) of the twelve (12) drill holes are already completed. The preliminary drill core observations are very promising on this zone that extends 150 m vertically and remains open in-depth. Assays will be performed at ALS-Chemex of Val d'Or.
Also, the Company identified a new phosphorus/titanium zone during last summer's sampling campaign (see September 12, 2008 press release) i.e. the France Zone (http://arianne-inc.com/img/DAR_2008_... ). Previous surface samples returned grades up to 9.74% P2O5.
China Mining Show : Arianne will be presenting its phosphorus/titanium project at the China Mining 2008 conference that will take place in Beijing November 10 to 15. Two presentations and three meetings with Chinese industrialists are planned. These meetings follow recent contacts with Chinese investors in Montreal through Investissement Quebec.
World Situation : Phosphate (with potash) is one of the main ingredient in fertilizers. Its future demand should grow in a significant way due to the necessity to intensify agricultural production techniques in order to feed a world population that is constantly growing. According to Potash Corp., the consumption of cereals is growing to new heights. In spite of records crops, stocks-utilisation world ratios are at quasi historical lows. Bill Doyle, CEO of Potash Corp. expects a good year in 2009, with increasing demand from China and India. " In spite of the recent slowdown of the world economy, the need for food does not diminish.
