SAGUENAY, QUEBEC - (Jan. 13, 2009) - The CEO of Arianne Resources Inc. ("Arianne")(TSX VENTURE:DAR) (FRANKFURT:JE9) (OTCBB:DARUF), Mr. Bernard Lapointe, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Nadege Tollari as Vice president - Research and Development. She will be based in Val d'Or.

Mrs. Tollari holds a Ph.D. from Universite du Quebec in Chicoutimi and her research interests covers saturation of phosphorous minerals (apatite) in silicated magmas. It makes no doubt that her knowledge in the area of phosphorous minerals will be a great asset for the apatite and titanium Lac a Paul project. Being based in Val D'Or, the mining capital of Quebec, she will be able to research different promising projects for the Company.

Mr. Norman Forrest also becomes Vice-president - Corporate and will perform the same duties as before, namely financing and investor relations.

Following her appointment, Dr.Tollari has received 150,000 stock options at a price of $0.10, valid for 5 years.
