Seems they're branching into the general public instead of industry. Hopefully this is a positive development; i.e., it's not a reaction to losing business from industry or government. Even better, if MS Robotics Studio accomplishes what it hopes to do - become the software platform for robotics just as MS Windows is a software platform for PC's - this could be great news as they have chosen Braintech for their vision systems. It would have been nice to have a piece of Microsoft before Windows was released back in 1993.
