First let me state that I am a long time and very long investor in BRHI. Yet, after this purchase I find myself more concerned than over over the prospects of making any real money with stock appreciation in the future.
I do not care to read their website or hear about how wonderful a company that Shafi is. The real question is why does a supposedly "successful" company like Shafi in business since 1991 working with so many high profiled companies and in over 350 million dollars of equipment lack the funds to pay their bills and accept a buy out with stock valued somewhere between 1-2 million dollars in today's market?
How does this portend for BRHI's future? Will we ever become a successful commercial enterprise? We all agree that BRHI has excellent technology and robotic vision is the future. Yet, while the robotic market escalates to billions of dollars, will the companies that provide the vision technology make respectable money? By that I mean, will we ever sell enough product to generate a significant profit, not require infusion of capital from select investors ( which leads to further dilution for the rest of us stockholders) and see significant appreciation of stock price to value greater than $1.00 and hopefully in the range of 3-5$?
I cannot go to the bank with award certificates or announcements of technological breakthroughs in R&D. I am still waiting for and hoping for mangement to announce concrete applications of ours or Shafi's technology which will result in real and significant sales and profit. Only then, will I be impressed and not bothered as much my the prospects of continued dilution ( yet I do recognize that a smaller % of a successful, viable company is worth a lot more than a larger % of a struggling one!).
