Tom,
What I see is a company that has no cash because they can't seem to make any significant sales, and the only thing they have to offer is shares. Obviously these guys have alternative sources of income or they have enough money to weather this storm.
The real question is whether this is a storm that will go away or a storm that will finally sink the ship that has been floundering for over a decade. You can admire their determination if they win, but you also have to consider what it means to be unemployed in this current economy. If you have the resources, taking shares for salary makes sense if it helps the company survive for now so they can find success in the future.
I'm sick of seeing this company struggle for survival as it has pretty much since its inception. We've got this incredible product that we can't seem to sell. Haven't we all seen this before? The old-timers know what I'm talking about.
Why can't they sell their product? That, to me, is the clear and obvious question. Is it because of poor salemanship? Is it because the product is overhyped when it comes to the realities of the market? Why can't they sell their product? It would be great if someone, anyone, would answer that question.
Dude
