Marks Seventh Ford Manufacturing Facility On Board With 3D-VGR Systems

NORTH VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Braintech, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BRHI), a pioneer in Vision Guided Robotics (``VGR``), today announced that Ford Motor Company has ordered three new TrueView(TM) VGR systems, powered by Braintech`s eVF(TM), for installation at its engine casting plant located in Cleveland, Ohio.

TrueView(TM) is the brand name for a proven 3D vision-guided robotics system ideally suited to automotive and auto part precision manufacturing and assembly. They allow for flexible automation in the areas of machining, assembly, and material handling. And while beginning in Ford`s engine plants, they are now successfully installed in multiple transmission facilities.

Owen Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Braintech, noted, ``We are pleased that TrueView(TM) is being judged by world class automotive manufacturers, such as Ford, as one of the leading and preferred VGR solutions in the marketplace. Ford`s continued confidence in Braintech`s innovative VGR technology combined with ABB robots, is appreciated and matched by our continued commitment to deliver truly robust automation solutions to the industrial manufacturing community.``
