NEWS - Brigadier Gold (TSX-V:BRG) Confirms Continuation of Gold Mineralization at Larder Lake

posted on Aug 13, 08 08:04AM

Holes 05 and 06 cut gold at depth below trenches on west side of M-Island

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Aug. 13, 2008) - Brigadier Gold Limited ("Brigadier" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:BRG) today announced further positive results from drilling in the M-Island zone of its Larder Lake gold project located just south of the Town of Larder Lake in Ontario's Kirkland Lake-Larder Lake gold camp. These results confirm continuation of gold mineralization to a vertical depth of at least 75 metres, and mineralization remains open along strike.

Holes MI-08-05 and MI-08-06 were drilled to test for depth continuity below gold bearing trenches on the west side of M Island where visible gold has been found. Hole MI-08-06 intersected 26 metres grading 1.118 g/t gold between 56 metres and 82 metres, including 5.8 metres grading 2.27 g/t gold between 61.7 metres and 67.5 metres. Hole MI-08-05 was drilled at a shallower angle and cut several gold bearing zones down to about 65 metres vertically, returning intercepts that included 0.631 g/t gold over 14.6 metres from 22.4 metres to 37 metres and 0.751 g/t gold over 6.5 metres from 54.5 metres to 61 metres.
