BSM Technologies awarded contract with leading North American coffee production and distribution provider
TORONTO, Feb. 22, 2013 /CNW/ - BSM Technologies Inc.("BSM" or the "Company") (TSX-V: GPS), a leading provider of remote monitoring, fleet management, fleet diagnostics and automated vehicle security systems, today announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide its Sentinel FM asset tracking solution to a leading North American coffee production and distribution provider. Under the terms of the contract, BSM will provide the client 351 Sentinel FM units and will provide on-going service for three years. Hardware revenues will be recognized immediately in Q1 2013 and recurring service revenues will be recognized over the course of the contract.

The Sentinel hardware being installed is the new SFM 3000 model, a lower cost hardware module that supports BSM's core Sentinel solution. The SFM 3000 is a weather-resistant unit that enables clients to monitor a mixed fleet of both mobile and fixed assets of all sizes, including everything from generators to mowers, from one unified platform. Clients can access their assets from virtually anywhere around-the-clock in order to capture complex vehicle data and driver performance metrics.
