CarBiz Inc. (OTCBB: CBZFF) ("CarBiz") will host its 2007 professional development conference for automotive dealers at the Grosvenor Resort at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, Oct. 28 - Oct. 31, 2007.
Dealers from throughout the United States are invited to participate in the conference, which will include seminars and interactive workshops on industry issues such as regulatory compliance, bankruptcy laws, collections and repossessions, human resources, tax issues for dealerships and more.
The conference fee is $345 through August 15, 2007 and $395 after that date. There is no fee for CarBiz consulting customers to attend. The conference will begin on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 28, with a seminar exclusively for CarBiz's Dealer Controlled Financing (DCF) consulting clients. The DCF only seminar will analyze the pooled portfolios of the DCF dealers and detail the latest trends.
There will be a welcome reception for all attendees on Sunday evening. General sessions, which will begin on Monday, Oct. 29, will include industry-specific workshops along with the opportunity to meet with CarBiz consultants, product developers and software support staff. Monday evening will feature cocktails and dinner outside by the resort pool. Conference workshops will continue on Tuesday, Oct. 30, concluding at 5 p.m.
On Wednesday, Oct. 31, CarBiz will offer an additional day of advanced software training on the company's Management System Plus and Independent Dealer Accounting software programs. These training sessions are designed to teach CarBiz software customers how to get the most out of their software.
