Pitboss,

I truly hope I am WRONG about how the so-called Special Dividend is to be paid. If they give us Pegasus shares DIRECTLY AS THEY SHOULD, then this is STILL a great deal for Pegasus, trust me on this I have followed this carefully for a long, long time---to continue, if they give CNOC shareholders SHARES of Pegasus, then CNOC holders such as myself then do Ok, especially given where Pegasus shares should go--but IF they try to hand us our share of 10 million shares (you read that right, 10 million and not 15 million as Chimera already owns 5 million Pegasus shares as is public record, and they intend to give that back as part of the deal), in the form of a cash "Dividend" at a fixed price anywhere close to 8 cents per share, then THAT amounts to buying all of the technology, double-redundant backbone network, the operations center in Costa Rica, the $3 million development center in Vancounver, the 25% of revenues Chimera earns from each of Pegasus' sites, and the 8% of revenue that Chimera earns from each of Pegasus' sub-licensee sites for a YARD SALE GIVEAWAY PRICE--a little over 1 penny per Chimera share. Since Ken Chua owns so much of Chimera's stock, I thought that made it unlikely that he would ever do something like that, BUT I do not know if he has cut his own deal. We will know shortly once the details of the "Special Dividend" are released. I myself will insist on shares or a somewhat reasonable price or there will be trouble for both companies-legally speaking. And I have plenty of verifiable ammunition. That said, I will give Mr. Chua an opportunity to demonstrate that he has made a deal that is good for ALL of us, but I need to know soon. As for Pegasus shareholders, even a deal that is acceptable to me such as a share swap of 1 for 6, is most definitely a GOOD DEAL for Pegasus shareholders--NO QUESTION! Now, whether the price takes off immediately or not I do not know. It might be that not much else would be said in the short-term in order to "let the smoke clear" and then they would release more details of the killer deal they got and what that means for Pegasus' future--but rest assured, whether it takes off today or a little bit down the road, I would not be selling if I were you!!
