The organic story is highly speculative at this point; there is huge potential, but this little company has a long way to go to tap into it. I just got the first of the company's Milestone Reports in the mail. The Company has put forth the goal of achieving 3 organic brand acquisitions by April 2009 and 3-6 organic company acquisitions by 2010. In my mind, this recalls the early days of ABT (Dr. Thomas's last big venture). He put forth some very ambitious goals and then he knocked them down in quick succession. We shall see whether he hits these goals. Personally, I'm betting on Dr. Thomas. The really good news is that there seems to be little downside risk, since the energy side of the company alone justifies my current investment (my basis is in the low $1 range at this point). Once the company closes a few acquisitions in the organic sector, things should snowball after that, as the company will hit a critical mass and others will want to come on board. This is what we saw with the ABT story. Past performance is no guarantee, etc. etc., but I'm never going to bet against Dr. Thomas.
