Thanks for that. As I said I thought that clean coal was an oxymoron but I wasn't sure if it had perhaps a lower sulphur content resulting in lower CO2 emissions etc. I think you're right, it's the technology where it's burned that reduces the greenhouse gases that lends itself to the "clean coal" terminology.
