Terence A. Ibbetson

Mr. Ibbetson has been in Management and Senior Management since 1973. During this time he has specialized in sales and marketing, and his expertise that been instrumental in the development and organization of the companies he has served. In 1990, Mr. Ibbetson and Mr. Swanson co-founded CON-SPACE Communications Ltd. Within CON-SPACE, Mr. Ibbetson serves as the President and assumes responsibility for the sales and marketing functions of the overall organization.
 
In 1981, he started Magnum Electronics, which formed the basis for the Magnum Group of Companies, co-founded in 1982 with Mr. Swanson. Mr. Ibbetson served as President of the Magnum Group, which established a worldwide distribution network for various types of two-way radio accessories.
 
These included EAR-MIKEs, headsets, vehicular intercom systems and other auxiliary communication devices designed, developed and manufactured by Magnum. In 1987, Mr. Ibbetson and Mr. Swanson sold the two main Magnum companies but continued on as Senior Management until leaving to form CON-SPACE. From 1973 to 1981, Mr. Ibbetson worked with Memorex Canada Ltd., a company in the recording media and computer equipment business. Mr. Ibbetson held various sales management positions at Memorex serving the last six years as their Western District Manager.
 
Prior to taking the position with Memorex in 1973, he spent 17 years as a Computer Engineer working in various capacities for companies such as Ferranti, RCA and Sperry Univac. Mr. Ibbetson was born in 1936, raised and educated in England. He completed his education at Marist College and obtained his technical qualifications at Hull Tech College and while serving in the Royal Navy.

Vice-President of Operations

Andy Ibbetson began on the cutting room floor of CON-SPACE, heading up the Company's operations since its inception in 1991. From that time onward to the year 2003, in addition to running operations, Andy was also in charge of managing the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) side of the business. In the summer of 2003, to further add to his list of accolades, Andy was sent to the CON-SPACE subsidiary office in the UK in order to set up a distribution network across Europe as well as to ensure quality in the day-to-day operations of the office. In fact, not only did Andy successfully establish an extensive distribution network throughout Europe and improve CON-SPACE UK operations overall, he also managed to hire and train new sales staff to continue the flow of business in that part of the world.Andy has since returned from the UK and now gladly assumes the role of Vice President of Operations at the CON-SPACE Head Office in Richmond BC, resuming his former responsibilities along with a few new ones.
