RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- July 2, 2008 - CON-SPACE Communications Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:CCB), a world leader in specialized voice communication products, technical search, surveillance and inspection systems, today announced that Mr. Terence A Ibbetson, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of CON-SPACE has stepped aside from his position and from the day to day operation of the Company.

Mr. Ibbetson said it best to the Company employees is his farewell memo, "Through the years I have seen people grow with the Company. CON-SPACE is now home to many who have made careers here, brought up families and they are the sole reason for the positive impact we have made on the people we serve, CON-SPACE equipment has made a difference. We have saved many lives helped make the working lives of our customers safer and easier. When I look at what we have done, I feel satisfied that much of what we set out to do has been accomplished."

"Terry has been a long-time friend and business partner who has made a significant contribution in building this Company to what it is today," said Mr. James L Swanson, co-founder and Chairman, of CON-SPACE. "His daily input will be missed but after years of service he will now have more time for his family and personal life. We all wish him the best."

Mr. Ibbetson remains as a director of the Company.
