Hi Molytrader. I was at the Vancouver conference. The speakers were very interesting. The common theme was that the commodity bull market has several years left, and that the current lull in the bull presents an excelent buying opportunity - and that one should be taking positions soon in quality companies with pounds in the ground. The majority of the speakers were of the opinion that the junior mining market will come back to life starting in about September/October. I suppose you would expect that sort of message at a mining conference, but those statements were backed up by some pretty good analysis.
I was particularly impressed by John Kaiser. He is extremely intelligent, and has an encyclopedic knowledge of all things related to mining. It gives me some degree of comfort to know that he is so bullish on CMS. Kaiser did mention that he is a big fan of moly, and that he thinks China is going to go to great lengths to obtain a monopoly on moly.
Creston had a large booth, and seemed to be attracting quite a bit of attention. Spoke to John McCleery. He said that there will be a new research report coming out in the next month or so. Other than that nothing that we haven't already heard - the company is drilling Red Hill and the new resource estimate on the main zone should be out in September.
