Hi Ilene,

It takes almost 2 years for some of the long lead items unless they can get used equipment.. Getting used equipment may be more and more likely as mines are closed due to low prices. Also, some orders may be cancelled for new equipment for the same reasons.

We are coming to a tricky time with slowing growth and lower commodity prices. How it will play out is anybody's guess. The real driver is still China and if they slow appreciably, then demand for moly will certainly drop off. The good news is that lower copper prices will delay or halt copper projects with moly as a byproduct and if copper prices go really low, some copper mines may stop producing copper and molybdenum thus curtailing supply and keeping moly prices supported.
