CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - May 30, 2006) - EcoMax Energy Services Ltd. (TSX Venture:EES) ("EcoMax") is pleased to announce that Mark Hopkins is the Company's new President and Chief Executive Officer. Mark has been with EcoMax for the past 5 years, most recently as the Company's Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officer. Mark graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Commerce degree, holds a Chartered Accountant designation and has 15 years experience in the oilfield supply and service industry in senior financial and operations roles. Prior to joining EcoMax, he was the president of National Oilwell Canada, the Canadian distribution arm of National Oilwell, and previously held senior positions with Dosco Supply and CE Franklin Ltd. Mark replaces Wayne Thomson, who will remain as a director of EcoMax.
