NEWS - EcoMax Elects New Chairman

CALGARY, ALBERTA, Apr 25, 2007 -- EcoMax Energy Services Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:EES) ("EcoMax") (www.ecomax.ca) is pleased to announce that Ed Grimes has been elected non-executive chairman of its board of directors. Ed has been a director of the Company since its inception in 1997 and served as President and CEO from 2000 to 2003. Ed has over 30 years experience in executive positions in the oilfield service and supply industry and currently holds other directorships in the oil and gas service industry. Ed replaces Jim Martin, who is retiring after serving as EcoMax chairman since its inception.

"The next few months will be a very important period for EcoMax with the current environment for the Company's EcoMax Pump and our plans to expand. As chairman of the board and with his experience and knowledge, Ed will provide valuable assistance in working toward that growth. I would also like to thank Jim Martin for his role in helping found and grow EcoMax to this point," said Mark Hopkins, president and CEO of EcoMax.
