Our lives are full of such examples. There are also examples of technologies developed by companies whose leaders did not see the value and "gave" the technology away. Xerox I believe once had some valuable technology. Who developed the patents that PTSC now own? http://future.iftf.org/2007/02/parc_...
My point is, as Lake stated more clearly than I did, we may have failed once but we should learn from our mistake(s) and not be afraid to try again simply becaused we failed the first time. If we believe in our technology we need to maximize our opportunity while we have the opportunity to do so. You only get so many chances and then it's over.
What I have suggested through my string of postings is that we do need to prevail on the legal front to fund another attempt at retail. If we don't consider retail I'm concerned that we will have missed an opportunity to really maximize our opportunity.
The main reason, I believe, that our stock ran up the way it did back in 2000 was we were viewed as having breakthrough technology with widespread consumer appeal.
