I've got to think that the settlement agreement already in place would be contingent upon the obligations being met rather than those obligations having any effect to potentially change the agreement... otherwise, why not wait until all the numbers are known before signing the agreement?

Samsung has about 2 weeks now to complete some obligations which will in effect ratify the agreement or else the whole thing is off. That's my read on it anyway. The question is whether it will be anything that will become public. If so, then we will know very soon and well in advance of the ASM. It does seem that they were in a hurry to set the date for the ASM as soon as possible. I can't help but wonder if it is so that we could vote on something extraordinary.

If 10/19 comes and goes with no new information presented, then I think we should prepare for a fairly normal ASM with perhaps some good news, but nothing super-huge related to Samsung.
