Of course they will fight. They have so informed DM by their refusal of the DEMANDS made by DM during the negotiation period that has led to this Law Suit. However, from the legal stand point, they have no better leg to stand on than SAMSUNG and first seven did...

The real difficult cases are coming much later, like APPLE, and those other infringers who buil 12 Billion war chests to defend against law suits anticipated, such as those by EDIG, after brazenly building an EMPIRE OF CASH on revers engineered technology from second hand sources who were "partners" of EDIG. DM will have to reverse couple of Appellate Decions to get a successful Ruilng on those cases, and I bet he is looking forward to it...

For nothing is more important to a practicing successfull lawyer than to have the ability to find that one case which clearly calls for reversal of older ruling because the equities call for it.
