My guess (WAG) is that Intel and TI could be what we have seen called "Tier 2" mean ole copy cats as they have a lot of down stream customers that are likely also in the mean ole copy cat camp. It's a big tent with a lot of dollars on those low hangin' pieces of, uh, fruit.
