If EDIG is following FASB accounting rules and the settlement agreement was executed in Sept then the revenue should be booked in Sept. The only reason I can see for not booking the revenue in Sept is if the "certain obligations" created some doubt about the settlement $ being paid, in which case the settlement could be recorded in the next quarter once those obligations had been satisfied.

If this is in fact the case, then there is another licensing deal being recorded in Q2.
