Just thinking out of the box but maybe what Samsung had a month to retrieve in the obligation was the following:

Their technical detail write-ups / specs of the use of edig's flash IP in samsung chips. Maybe this was why sammy was in the first round and what edig / duane m wanted this or something similar to it. This way duane m now has the bat to bring the others to the table and to conclusion at a higher $ amount and faster rate.

Does not sammy supply many chips / the hardware for many of these companies to use?
