The real story was that the ex CEO of Coca Cola was put in replacing job almost ran Apple into the ground...

They got Jobs back, who sold Gates on the idea that it was in his interest not to be the only game in town as that would cost a great deal in Anti-Trust fines, which happened any way...

Gates loaned Apple $150 million to save Apple as the other software company representing a token competition to DOS and its progeny...

Jobs found a niche in music which was in choas. He spliced I-Pod together by reverse engineering some existing technologies in his Lab., and by citing EDIG as prior Art for some of his patents he offered it to the young, and then through clever Marketing made it the phenom that it has become...

Jobs not only saved Apple's core computer business but created the present day Apple repleate with a $12 Billion war chest. Let us hope EDIG can get more than $2.5 Million from him...

Oh, and in time he paid back the $150 to Gates, and probably Gates Made several Billion by investing in Apple too...
