I was not going to say much along these lines, but since you brought it up, my perception was EDIG has very little desire for a lengthy court issue to try and raise the stakes in a settlement. It was almost like saying we don't care to bother with a Markman. Then later on RP mentioned it is possible for 1, 2 or 3 of the 19 we may go there...not real direct answers I guess.

It appeared to me we are happy banging out settlements and landing some XLA's to sweeten the pot, because the XLA's add value other than hard cash. A blend of both looks like the goal being set.

It was also hinted many of the 19, I think 5 (?) would fall pretty quick, and "there may be some surprises for you in these 19." OK..surprise me...
