And yes, I did some reading in high school and even earned a college degree. So I know (comprehend) what you were saying.
My beef with you and others like "sial" on Raging Bull is questioning why is it that you ( and all others who proclaim to have no vested interest in any way whether this stock soars or dives) take up your family or personal time to get so involved vocally?
What is your expected return on your time investment? Either you have nothing better to do with your time, or don't value your time in dollars.
For me, if the stock goes up, I win.
If it goes down, I lose.
I can figure that out on my own.
To you, it's (EYI) toast........Dead! Whether a coroner declares it, or the SEC shuts the door. So why not take your wife or children to the zoo for the afternoon rather than follow and chat about a stock that a friend lost money on? Your logic (or social life) fails miserably here.
Ps. (I must assume you have no sense of humor, as I was trying to be a wee bit facitious with the "stock picking website" thing!)
And if someone projected the figures for EYI in the next 6 months, would you really actually swallow your pride, eat crow, and invest in shares of EYI........................................especially after slamming every aspect of its existence? (You have brass dangles if you would!)
So my main question still remains:
Since you...you, de9....have nothing to personally gain.....or personally lose......with this company, why on earth do you take your valuable time to worry about a company that is doomed to failure?
Why not just tell your friend that you still love him, and that you also have made some bad decisions in the past, (and to error is human, etc., etc.) And he made "just plain a stupid decision", and take him out to have a beer, some ribs, and a good laugh? After all, it's only money!
And about where it might be headed: There was a rather well known company called AMP which became Tyco and went from the teens up to the 60's in the past decade, then dove (in scandal) several years ago back into the teens............................ and is now back in the 30's.
So would you have predicted that one? After all, it was infestated with scandal.
I knew the (now recently-deceased) original founder and CEO of AMP (Joe Brenner) personally, and he ran a tight ship in the old AMP days. But things, and contracts, and personnel change with companies, and AMP/Tyco went through its changes........... and we and EYI have the same opportunities to change and grow, until proven otherwise.
I just don't have a clue about your intent is here.
