Exploring The Torlon Hill Zinc Project In Guatemala


Torlon Hill Project, Guatemala (ZINC,LEAD, SILVER) - Located 20 km west-northwest of Huehuetenango in Western Guatemala. Over the past two years, drilling by Firestone has encountered significant high-grade zinc over a 160 metre x 850 metre area. A seond drill campaign has recently concluded and metallurgical testing is underway.


HIGHLIGHTS

  • Zinc mineralization (smithsonite) extends over a 160 metre x 850 metre area.
  • Holes from east side of Torlon Hill intersected significant mineralization grading from 3% to 42.3% zinc and 0.5% to 11% lead. High-grade zinc intercepts ranged from 1.5 to 53 metres.
  • A total of 64 drill holes (4,936 meters) have been completed.
  • Most of the mineralization is smithsonite (zinc) and lead carbonates with minor amounts of lead sulphide (galena).
