Hey hoov.....it seems that you have become the topic, as opposed to your 'logical & rational' thoughts. This is an interesting predicament, in that you are, at the very same moment trying to clean out this board....and apparently others too.
I am trying to get a handle on your method of thinking and posting.....this is prompted by your self proclaimed neutrality, in the face of an overwhelming tsunami of posts and 'hoov logic', also claimed as 'science'.
Now lets get this straight from the start.....I am impressed with your ability to dig and do research, and apply the scientific method to your results. This is not the issue. The quote below is from Marie Curie.
"There are sadistic scientists who hurry to hunt down errors instead of establishing the truth."
.....just for the record, I am NOT saying you are 'sadistic'....so don't go there...lol. However this quote comes close to what I am thinking about your 'approach' to the issues and problems of ROF and Agoracom. You are so determined in your scientific method, that you may be missing the truth.
An example of that, is the claim that a 'synergy of synergies' will happen upon consolidation in the ROF. Well.....logic and rational thought may tend to support that idea. But is that the 'truth' just because it's logical?.....in my opinion it is not! I think the 'truth' in this case is not 1+1=2 but more like the real 'synergy' then will be in the 'hedgies' pocket and retail will get royaly screwed....as history of NOT BOD and background players shows...CLEARLY!
So which 'truth' is the most important to listen to in the above example? I made my choice. Next time 'science' may be my choice...depending on the question. Other times I will go by 'intuition' ...a well respected, periodic choice by scientists and artists.
So hoov....you can measure and weigh and sift out the 'facts' as you determine them to be, but, 'sometimes' they don't live up to their reputation....they remain only facts. What I want is the truth.....or even sometimes just the possibility of the truth.
