DRILLING COMMENCED ON SOCORRO TARGET AT MORELOS

Vancouver, British Columbia - March 15, 2011 – Garibaldi Resources Corp. (TSX.V: GGI) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that, further to its news release of December 16, 2010, the drilling permit for the Socorro target has been granted by the Mexican Ministry of Mines and drilling has commenced on the planned 1,000 metre drill program. The program calls for four to six drill holes to test the Socorro structure situated on the Morelos Concession, Chihuahua State, Mexico.
