Greencastle Resources Alert

posted on Jul 03, 08 09:36AM

10:40 am, July 3

It appears that an important bottom may have been put in on Greencastle today as the stock sold off aggressively this morning, in capitulation-style, to a low of .36 cents. We believe some stop-loss orders got triggered below .40 which sparked a further drop to .36. The weakness in overall markets was certainly a key factor in Greencastle breaking below support at yesterday's close.

Greencastle has closed above its 20-day moving average (now .385) since its run began at the end of May, so these levels are very attractive to us. Indeed, some strength has come back into the stock after this morning's plunge to .36.

Greencastle has delivered a steady stream of news in recent weeks, though it's not surprising we haven't seen any news this week given the Canadian and U.S. holidays. We're speculating there's an excellent chance of significant news from Greencastle early next week, leading to a renewed advance in the share price. Profits are born on market days like today, and Greencastle has proven to be an excellent buy on any substantial weakness.

We will be commenting further on this in an update tomorrow morning at www.solomonsmallcaps.com.
