Just spent 3 days at the Toronto Financial Forum trade show, volunteering at the Grizzly Diamond Booth is was nice to finally see what a piece of kimberlite actually looks like and to see some of the core from the Peak for which assays should be out in the next 2 - 3 weeks. Very shiny that silver!
It was such a pleasure to stand and listen to the Griz tell his "story" of how he believed from when he was a child that there were diamonds in Alberta - time has proved him correct and he is passionate about finding more on the properties owned by GZD and making the shareholders of Grizzly Diamonds wealthy with the finds they are determined to make. Drilling is starting in the next week or so on the targets they identified in northern Alberta and I, for one, can't wait to see if they are diamondiferous. It was also a pleasure to meet Griz's daughter and realize that it is a family business and some of the properities are named after his grandchildren. Management is so important when evaluating a company and, folks, you've got management on your side and working full tilt in this company. Can you tell I am impressed? Mr. Testo (the griz) is currently on an airplane, heading to London and Germany, to tell the Grizzly story in Europe - look out for some great things happening soon!
I talked with a couple of hundred people this weekend and there are a lot of new savy investors coming into the market - tired of mutual funds and willing to take their investments into their own hands. A great time to be doing so and what better investment than "Canada Rocks"! This is great news for Grizzly Diamonds and all Canadian resource stocks and with the news out of South Africa, Ecuador and Argentina this week Canada is definitely the place to put your money and I am sure the big boys know this just as much as we the small retail investors do.
As I have been saying all weekend "do your Due Diligence" check out the management and make the comparisons. Also note the small number of stock (18 million fully diluted) and know that more than 60% are held by family, friends and insiders. Money in the bank from the PP at $1.10 in December! The story is a great one.
