Season’s Greetings to you all…

Just a quick post before heading off to spend the holidays with family and friends – there has been some talk over the last couple of weeks about beliefs, thoughts, facts, the future, the present, the markets up or down, the share price manipulations and so on……. if any of us, or people in the media or the talking heads actually knew what the future held, without doubt, they wouldn’t be bothered with writing about it, they would just be living it…. this is what I encourage each of us to do. Live! investing in the stock market should just be a part of our lives and not all encompassing. Yes, we have all had a significant lowering of our investments and our capital and many have lines of credit and credit cards that are maxed because of it. So let’s stop for a moment and ask ourselves why we have chosen to bring ourselves to this moment and this time and what are we going to chose to do with it? I never ever pictured this happening however I do remain very confident that my choices have brought me here for a reason – I have less money however I have many new and amazing friends, I have a whole new understanding of areas of Canada that I would never have before, I know more about mother earth than I knew before… the list is very long of all the new and interesting things I have learned over the past year. I take full responsibility for my choices and take full credit for the joy that each of those choices brought and for all the grays hairs that have appeared as well. J

I am not going to say “all share prices of our stocks will be significantly higher by this time next year”, I am not going to say “the market will crash by March”, I don’t know what is going to happen, I just know that I will choose to be happy, no matter which it is and that I will be grateful for the people I’ve met and the friends I’ve made.
