as you all know I rarely speculate.... I dream, I hope, I believe .... however, I rarely look at the specific numbers
I decided to do so today as we have a good investment in GZD with an average higher than today's trading price and so I decided it was time to take a close look at where we stand today and what the future could hold. I believe this speculation is conservative, probable and worth the time taken to do it.
I have placed a caveat at the end and will also do so here.... these thoughts are all IMO and should be considered as such - if I have made any mathematical errors or conversion errors, anywhere, I would appreciate it if someone would point them out.
The speculative information following is based these assumptions:
GZD has 22,943,970 common shares issued to date currently trading at CAN$00.395
$200 per oz gold (price used when still in the ground)
40,000 oz = $8,000,000 (current market cap of GZD at $.40 approx.)
40,000 oz @ 10 g/t (1/3 oz) = 120,000 tonne = 50,000 cu metres
To get the above you would need an ore body 5 metres wide, 100 metres long and 100 metres deep.
Canadian Football Field
"The playing field is 110 yards (100 m) long and 65 yards (59.4 m) wide. The end zones are 20 yards (18.3 m) deep."
So therefore, if you can picture a Canadian Football Field, including the end zones, and picture it 5 metres down, into the ground ….you have enough gold to equal GZD’s current market cap (based on the above parameters which are conservative)
In Southern BC GZD has 180,000 acres or 75,000 hectares (1 hectare = 100 m x 100 m) or approximately 75,000 football fields, surface area……. and as deep as any mineralization goes.
Interesting questions ….
How much would GZD be worth if only 1% of the BC properties contained gold or even .1%? (not including the other minerals associated such as copper)
How large is the area within which Hemlo located 7,000,000 oz of gold?
Does the Greenwood area fall in the “Republic Graben” area and what is the significance of that?
How far away is the Buckhorn Mine, how many thousands of ounces have they already produced? and who is the operator of that mine? and is it possible that the GZD Greenwood area properties part of the same trend?
PLEASE NOTE **The above speculation gives no value to GZD’s metallic and industrial mineral permits for Potash totaling more than 1.4 Million acres along the Saskatchewan-Alberta border or to the more than 1 million acres in diamond properties which host diamondiferous kimberlites in the Buffalo Head Hills and Birch Mountains of Alberta.
The reader is cautioned that the consideration or use of mineral potential derived from conceptual mineralized targets, as outlined above, is hypothetical in nature and involves the quantification of mineralization that is as yet unrealized and estimates of such mineralization should not be relied upon. There can be no assurance that any of the mineral potential, in whole or in part, will ever become economically viable.
