MONTREAL, Apr 8, 2008 -- Haemacure Corporation (TSX:HAE), a specialty bio-therapeutics company developing high-value human therapeutic proteins for commercialization, will hold its Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders on:

Mr. Joseph Galli, Chairman & CEO of Haemacure, will report on Haemacure's projects, recent developments and future outlook. Mr. Galli will also present an overview of the current clinical programs for Haemacure's proprietary fibrin sealant and hemostatic agent product candidates, construction of the Company's new manufacturing facility and growth potential.

Haemacure Corporation is a specialty bio-therapeutics company developing high-value human therapeutic proteins for commercialization. Haemacure's research and development effort is driven by its proprietary plasma protein extraction technology to develop next-generation products, including surgical haemostats.
