medical technology not flavour of the month

I like to follow different small cap companies and the one thing I find is that medical technology companies like this one are not flavours of the month. There can be hot sectors that go through cycles like mining, dot-coms etc, but medical advances are always needed. I think this has staying power which makes it sound fundamentally.
